Now Playing Tracks

Last winter I was invited to the Park Sessions at Buttermilk in Aspen. Transworld Snowboarding hosted the session with the resort providing lodging accommodations for  the riders. It’s been almost ten months since that week, and finally, here’s the footage from it: http://snowboarding.transworld.net/1000193898/videos/park-sessions-2012-buttermilk-at-aspen/?pid=49040#ngtop

Arbor Snowboards Uncertain Journey Episode 2
.
In a winter of what if’s, I wish’s and all around WTF’s, sometimes you just have to roll the dice and give’er a go. Arbor rider’s Ian Sams and Scotty Vine set out on a trek from Salt Lake City to Aspen and then on to Denver just trying to get involved and make some snowboarding happen in a wildly uncertain season. Along the way they drop in on a SLC urban mission, a Nike Chosen event, the Bonezone, Brighton, the X Games, Snowmass and SIA among all parts in-between and at various times they meet up with teammates, Sean Black, Brandon Hammid, Blake Axelson, Sammy Spiteri and Nick Visconti. Arbor Snowboards presents an Uncertain Journey Episode 2 of 2. To check out episode one hit the link: http://youtu.be/qw6lCwS1bCU.

Alex Rodway on the orange barrier. This picture pretty much shows our whole crew that we had out there. I also think it’s ironic for me to post this picture of Alex since his jumping shots were really what made him stand out that week.

Here’s a method I did during our only sunset shoot for the TWSnow Park Sessions at Buttermilk in Aspen. The other shots of Tyler Flanagan and Alex Rodway that afternoon turned out sick - I can’t wait to see theirs in print!
