Ian Sams is always somewhere. Somewhere is anywhere really… In his head, rolling up, and dropping in all qualify. We generally see him crushing it in Bear Mountain’s Sunday In The Park episodes, but this year, Sams is lost. We took him out of his element and on the road with friends to film for a full length video part dropping Fall 2013. In this episode, Erik Leon joins the crew for a week of Montana mayhem and shredding in the middle of nowhere.

Nick Visconti is back making his Dangerzone episodes! Here is the first of many to come this winter as the creative mind of Nick produces a unique twist on snowboarding entertainment.
“This year, Episode 1 of Dangerzone’s 4th season brings it back to the basics with Nick, Nial Romanek, Erik Leon, Brent Oftedal, and myself in ‘Alphabet Aerobics’”
Check out my buddies Erik Leon and Sammy Spiteri in this opening day edit from over at Boreal Mountain. It’s a collage of super fun and technical madness on shred sticks.
Someone please help! My friend Erik Leon is stuck inside this box while he is living life on loop snowboarding at Boreal. I don’t know enough about quantum mechanics, time continuums and space contingencies to figure it out. How do we get him out of this time loop?
Arbor Snowboards Boreal Sessions
Arbor Snowboards team riders, Ian Sams, Erik Leon, Scotty Vine, Mariah Dugan, Sammy Spiteri, and Brandon Hammid hooked up near Lake Tahoe, California for the Boreal Sessions! The park crew at Boreal Mountain built some creative set ups and the Arbor team laid down trick after trick. Good times, great crew, and a fun mountain.
My fellow Arbor team mates made their way around a few states, had a lot of fun, and made a third episode of their snowboarding adventures. Erik Leon, Ian Sams, and Austin Young are the riders in this one. Mr. Eli Weiner did the editing.
I admit, I felt lazy and didn’t want to write up a new description for the video title, so I stole the one off Snowboarder Mag and decided to link back to their site instead:

“Fiending for some early season shred? Bear mountain just opened, and here’s an edit showcasing the current features. More snow is on its way, and it feels like winter is finally here.”
The bizarre adventures continue for the Van Delirium crew as they make their way to Mt. Hood, Oregon for some quick laps and backyard sessions at the Summits. Then they head off to Stevens Pass, Washington for a couple days of backcountry fun (imagine rail kids in the backcountry.) Things get weird for the Van crew as the long trip and the Delirium settles in.
Arbor Snowboards team rider, Scotty Vine connects with new team shredder, Erik Leon for some final laps at Bear Mountain during closing week of the 2010/11 season. Nothing but solid style and dirty tricks in this SoCal spring edit.
Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be another Arbor video from Bear Mountain comes one that just plain handles business. Ian Sams destroys and he’s got a nice supporting caste of team riders including Scott Vine, Sean Black, Brandon Hammid and Erik Leon. Could our boy Sams get any nastier? Only at the bar….enjoy.
The Arbor Snowboard’s FACE/OFF event took place at Bear Mountain. The event turned out great, had over 90 competitors, and was my favorite contest of the season to watch at my home mountain.
