Nick Visconti is back making his Dangerzone episodes! Here is the first of many to come this winter as the creative mind of Nick produces a unique twist on snowboarding entertainment.

On April 15th, 2012 Arbor Snowboard’s FACE/OFF event was held at Boreal Mountain Resort near Lake Tahoe. Some of the riders included the defending champ from last year’s FACE/OFF event, Erik Leon, along with Ben Ross, Kai Wiggens, Colton Morgan, Alex Hereford, Jeremy (Lemi) Landy, Jordan Welter and other standouts. The battle for first place was between enned up between Kai Wiggens and Colton Morgan. After multiple battles it came down to a backside 270 to fakie, the trick was finally landed by Colton Morgan, and he took top honors and $600 making him the winner of the 2012 Arbor Snowboard’s FACE/OFF event.

This is the order of tricks that went down in the final game of S.N.O.W.: Frontside lipslide, nollie back lip, switch frontside boardslide, switch backside boardslide, frontside 270, hardway backside 270, switch backside 270, switch frontside nosepress, and the winning trick, backside 270 to fakie.

Judges included: Sean Black, Nick Visconti, Scotty Vine, Sammy Spiteri, Brandon Hammid and Eli Weiner. 

Arbor Snowboards Uncertain Journey Episode 2

In a winter of what if’s, I wish’s and all around WTF’s, sometimes you just have to roll the dice and give’er a go. Arbor rider’s Ian Sams and Scotty Vine set out on a trek from Salt Lake City to Aspen and then on to Denver just trying to get involved and make some snowboarding happen in a wildly uncertain season. Along the way they drop in on a SLC urban mission, a Nike Chosen event, the Bonezone, Brighton, the X Games, Snowmass and SIA among all parts in-between and at various times they meet up with teammates, Sean Black, Brandon Hammid, Blake Axelson, Sammy Spiteri and Nick Visconti.
