I want to go back to Tahoe before winter is over. I miss sunsets like this after a day of riding. #kingsbeach #Tahoe #January #snow #sunset

The lives we have are short, so we enjoy it. And hiking out into the backcountry to try to get shots is just part of life for us. I like working with people in the snow industry because we aren’t just there for ourselves, we go out in a group to get more work done, have more fun, and stay safe. To me this is as close as you get to being behind the scenes of snowboarding, because technically, it is.
Photo taken at Donner Pass.
Terren Gomez is a photographer I met a few years ago while I was out in South Lake Tahoe. He’s a super knowledgeable person when it comes to backcountry, and overall a rad person to work with. He even has a Facebook page where you can officially “like” his work! There is a click-through link on the picture to go to the page.
